Georgieva & Georgiev Law Firm is a Bulgarian legal entity, registered in 2007 at the Sofia City Court, in accordance with the Law on the Bar of the Republic of Bulgaria. The company is entered in the registers of the Bulgarian Bar and in the register at the Sofia Bar Association by Decision of the Administrative Court № 18 / 18.09.2007, under № 2100011910, and the active activity of the company and its partners and associates has been continuous since its establishment until the present moment.
Five lawyers have been registered as partners in the company, and at the moment there are three partners. The company works with partner lawyers, with representatives of industrial property - engineers and economists, as well as throughout the entire period of its existence, the company has presented opportunities for successful training of trainee lawyers, later registered in the relevant bar associations as lawyers or who have taken positions of notaries, legal advisers and managers in state institutions.
Since its establishment, the company has been operating under the national trademark "LEGAideas", registered in class 45 of the ICSU, reg. № 60932.
The main practice of Georgieva & Georgiev Law Firm is focused on the overall protection of intellectual property rights. The partners in the company are industrial property representatives before the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria (BPO), before the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), as well as before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), with the authority to represent their clients before the relevant courts.
The company also operates in the fields of information technology, unfair competition, personal data protection, commercial, administrative, company and contract law, real estate law and in the newest and developing field - the regulation of artificial intelligence. The lawyers of the firm conduct proceedings before administrative institutions and special jurisdictions, as well as have the full scope of rights to carry out legal representation before all types of courts in the Republic of Bulgaria and to represent clients before other national, European and international institutions.
